When it comes to my concept art, I start with getting the base look first. Typically, the character is only standing still with a couple of different expressions. After that, I draw the characters in their every day circumstances. For my fantasy concepts that have fighting in them, I draw the characters at ether their most powerful or when they’re at their angriest.
